Use of our website

Google Analytics with the extension “anonymize IP”

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). In order to adhere to data protection obligations, we have made special arrangements for Google Analytics to remove the last part of the IP address (“anonymize IP”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”. Cookies are text files which are stored on the user’s computer and enable analysis of the use of the website.

The information generated by the use of cookies is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The last three digits of the IP address are truncated (“anonymize IP”) which makes the clear allocation of the IP address by means of the transmitted IP impossible for Google. Google complies with the “US Safe Harbor” agreement on data protection and has registered with the US Ministry of Commerce “Safe Harbor” programme. Google will use this information generated by the use of cookies for the purpose of evaluating the user’s use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing additional services associated with website and internet usage.

Third parties, including Google, place ads on websites and use stored cookies based on a user’s previous visits to this website. Google may also transmit the data to third parties insofar as this is required by law or as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. The IP-address transmitted by your browser will not be associated with any other data held by Google. By using this website, the user agrees to the processing of his/her data collected by Google as described and for the purposes set out above. The user can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate browser settings and moreover prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and data related to his/her use of the website (including the IP address) as well as the use of such data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in that is available under: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Please find more information on the terms of use and data protection under www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or under www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

Contact forms

Our website uses a contact form for enquiries. You can enter certain data relating to you into the form, thereby enabling us to process your enquiry. We process the following data: Name, contact details (such as phone number and address), company name as well as you message.

Your voluntarily provided data will be processed in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of processing your enquiry as soon as possible. The provision of your personal data is necessary for this.

Google Maps

This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our website appealing and to facilitate the location of places specified by us on the website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

Further information about handling user data, can be found in the data protection declaration of Google at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Social Media Plug-ins

Our website uses plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Xing. If you retrieve a page on our website that contains such plug-ins, these are deactivated at first. The plug-ins are not activated until you click on the button provided. In doing so, you establish a direct connection to the respective social network and thereby agree to the transmission of data to the network. If you are logged in to the respective social network, it can assign the visit to our website directly to your respective account. By activating the plug-in, your personal data will be transferred from your browser to the respective plug-in provider and stored there. For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the respective social network, as well as related rights and settings for the protection of your privacy, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective social network.

If you do not want the respective social network to collect data about you via our Internet presence, you must log out of the respective social media account before visiting our website.
