This document tells you about the processing of your personal data during use of the services of Interlingua and our website www.interlingua.at.
Our aim is to give you an overview of the rights you have and the relevant points of the applicable data protection regulations.

2) Quotations and assignments
Only the personal data necessary for the mutual and correct fulfilment of contracts is collected when processing quotations and assignments.
We only collect and process such data as you have provided voluntarily and with your knowledge. This procedure is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a and lit. b GDPR.
The following data are processed:
first and last name, company name, VAT ID, invoicing address (street, postcode, city, country), phone number, email address, communication history, past requests and assignments. The data and information provided by you for contract fulfilment is stored and made available to the respective translator, interpreter or language service provider for processing. All our collaborators are equally bound by the data protection provisions.
The translators, interpreters or language service providers involved in the processing of your data may be employed in-house or self-employed. Insofar as is necessary for the successful fulfilment of a contract, they may be located outside the EU or the EEA. However, said persons also sign a non-disclosure contract binding them to comply with the provisions of the GDPR.
During and after contract fulfilment, source and target files are saved in the CAT and translation management tools used by Interlingua. The duration of storage is governed by the legal retention periods.
3) Use of our website
a) Google Analytics with the extension “anonymize IP”
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). In order to adhere to data protection obligations, we have made special arrangements for Google Analytics to remove the last part of the IP address (“anonymize IP”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies“. Cookies are text files which are stored on the user’s computer and enable analysis of their use of the website.
Third parties, including Google, place ads on websites and use stored cookies based on a user’s previous visits to this website. Google may also transmit this information to third parties insofar as this is mandated by law or for third parties to process this data on behalf of Google. The anonymised IP address transmitted by the user’s browser will not be associated with any other data held by Google. By using this website, the user agrees to the processing of his/her collected data by Google as described and for the purposes set out above.
b) Contact form
On our website, we use a contact form for requests. In this form, you can enter various details about yourself for use when we process your request. The following details are used for this: your first and last name, phone number, company name, address (street, postcode, location, country), email address, as well as your message and details provided. Personal data which you have knowingly and freely made available will be processed in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of processing your enquiry as soon as possible. The provision of your personal data is necessary for this.
c) Google Maps
This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The use of the functions of Google Maps is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this website has no influence over the transfer of this data. Google Maps is used in the interests of making our location easy to find. This is a justified interest under the terms of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
d) Use of Google ads and analytics
We use Google Ads to display ads for our services on the Google advertising network. Google Ads is a service of Google Ireland Limited, incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter “Google”).
We expressly point out that we have neither influence over nor knowledge of the user data Google and Google Ads store, process or pass on to other countries outside the EU. Google collects the pseudonymised data of Google Ads users within the Google advertising network. If we have received your contact details in connection with the sale of a service, we also process these details so that we can send you (advertising) information about similar services by email or in a newsletter, due to our justified interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR). You can object to this processing of your data for the purpose of direct advertising at any time, e.g. by following the unsubscribe link directly in the newsletter or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Revocation shall not affect the lawfulness of the data processing, which has been carried out on the basis of consent before revocation.
Sendinblue is used as our newsletter software. Your details will be sent to Sendinblue GmbH. Sendinblue is prohibited from selling your details or using them for purposes other than sending newsletters. Sendinblue is a German, certified provider, which was selected according to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.

f) Use of SalesViewer® technology
On this website, data is collected and stored for marketing, market research and optimisation purposes using the SalesViewer® technology of SalesViewer® GmbH on the basis of the legitimate interests of the website operator (Art. 6 para.1 lit.f DGPR).
The details stored by Salesviewer® will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose. Deleting them does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations.
You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with future effect by clicking on https://www.salesviewer.com/opt-out to prevent its collection by SalesViewer® on this website in future. This places an opt-out cookie for this website on your device. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click on this link again.
g) Social media plug-ins
If you do not want the respective social network to collect data about you via our internet presence, you must log out of the respective social media account before visiting our website.
4) Data protection information for users of our LinkedIn presence
For our LinkedIn fan page (https://www.linkedin.com/company/219841, we use the technical platform and services of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter “LinkedIn”).
The purpose of data processing on our fan page is to provide information about our services, combined with the possibility for LinkedIn users to interact with us directly. The justification for the data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Our legitimate interest is, in particular, our business interest in sharing information with our users and being able to communicate with them.
If there is a visit to our LinkedIn fan page, LinkedIn collects the IP address, among other things. Cookies are also set on LinkedIn. LinkedIn provides site operators with this “insight data”. We use “insight data” provided by LinkedIn to evaluate the behaviour of our target group or users in the context of their interaction with our site.
For the processing of insight data, the contractual conditions stipulate under https://legal.linkedin.com/pages-joint-controller-addendum that the site operators and LinkedIn are joint responsible parties.

5) Data protection information for users of our Facebook presence
For our Facebook fan page (https://www.facebook.com/InterlinguaWien), we use the technical platform and services of Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter “Facebook”).
The purpose of data processing on our fan page is to provide information about our services, combined with the possibility for Facebook users to interact with us directly. The justification for the data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR Our legitimate interest is, in particular, our business interest in sharing information with our users and being able to communicate with them.
If there is a visit to our Facebook fan page, Facebook collects the IP address, among other things. Cookies are also set on Facebook. Facebook provides site operators with this “insight data”. We use the “insight data” provided by Facebook to evaluate the behaviour of our target group or users in the context of their interaction with our site.
For the processing of insight data, the contractual conditions stipulate under https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum that the site operators and Facebook are joint responsible parties.
